YSC Sports in Wayne, PA is a first-class, state-of-the-art facility with four turf fields including, a 9v9 indoor field, small-sided indoor field, a full size outdoor field with a professional-grade playing surface, and a 7v7 / training field.
Additionally, YSC Sports features locker and video analysis team rooms, a full athlete performance and fitness training / Athletic Development (ADT) Zone, and a Physical Therapy & Recovery Room.
Athletic Development Training Zone
As home of the Philadelphia Union Academy, coaching and sport science staff incorporates Athletic Development Training into our soccer curriculum in order to provide participants a stronger athletic platform from which to grow and develop.
YSC’s ADT Zone is a state-of-the-art athletic training facility with innovative equipment designed to enhance athletic development and player performance. The ADT program is overseen by Director of Athlete Development, Bill Knowles and his staff.
Union Academy training sessions incorporate ADT, which include agility and balance games (with and without a soccer ball). ADT emphasis is not only fun for the players, but also valuable to their long-term development. ADT enhances soccer performance by providing critical skills in coordination, balance, agility, and speed.
Physical Therapy & Recovery Room
Recovery is key to an athlete's performance. YSC Sports features state-of-the-art physical therapy and recovery facilities for athletes of all ages.
